First, happy Father’s Day to all of you. I do hope you get as spoiled as I am today. It’s good to get pampered by those you pamper everyday so a little extra love is nice.
Pretty full day ahead in this regard so I’m going to keep this one short as I share a little thing that means a lot from my girls to me.
Long time readers of this blog and through its evolution over the past 15 years will know there are two things I love a lot: Action figures and Superman. My girls know it too and once again, they humored me in my latest passion for the Man of Steel.

With the new film coming out in July, while I’m cautious in what the studio system is going to put out, I’m getting more hopeful from certain things I’ve seen so far.
The days of awe when it comes to the visuals mean so little today thanks to technology in film making. If you were there in ‘78, or first introduced before ‘84, you know what I’m talking about. Richard Donner and Christopher Reeve absolutely convinced us that a man could fly.
Such a bummer that feeling can never be recreated for this new generation of Superman fans. Hopefully they will be getting a story of our strange visitor with powers and abilities beyond mortal men, that will hit what matters to me at most about Clark, his spirit, integrity and impossible hopefulness that we humans can and should do good for the sake of doing it.
That’s my perspective and lifetime takeaway.
I’m going to wrap this up as I get ready for the upcoming family feast that’s planned for today for myself, my father in law and brother in law. I do want to tease you about tomorrow and the start of a fresh week:
The Muse tapped my head once again. Starting tomorrow, I am super stoked to share with you a system for blogging that I am so extremely grateful for. No pun intended, just what the Muse popped out via this digital pen.

Have a Super Duper Day!
