When the world sucks… create!

Been an amazingly creative day. Hate to brag but it’s true. The thing is that it can be that way for you too.

With all the never ending doomscrolling and mindless algorithmic fed distractions it’s easy to overlook the energy you’re actually wasting. I am certainly no stranger to that.

However…

Since I’ve made my decision to embrace my spark as a storyteller and creator, and then kept pushing everyday with that intention, those wasted days and energy are getting fewer and far between.

Persistence is key.

That and the understanding that letting go of things is good. It’s also even better that as you let things go to understand why you were holding on to them for so long in the first place. A term I very recently learned that applied to my issue:

“Obligation Loop”

It’s an Achilles heel that I didn’t realize I had until I faced the aforementioned question of “Why” that I got to that truth.

Now, I’m naming it. Taming it. And the creativity is flowing like never before.
